Thank you for your interest in my website. I am the author of four novels of the five-part Youngstown Quintet. The last (fifth) book in the series will be available in 2019 or shortly thereafter. If you are interested in novels about real people who find themselves in good stories, then I ask you to consider reading my stories in the Quintet.
I think stories should do some important things. Here are a few:
1) They should illuminate the human condition. (That’s a fancy way of saying that you should really learn something about life by reading them.);
2) They should be pleasing to read. (That is, they should not be wordy or dense or boring.);
3) The characters should be people you can know and understand, whether they are good or evil. (That is, they should not be fantastical beings you can hardly imagine, but be people that you have known or could know in your own life.);
4) You should feel glad to have read the story, that it awakened in you some understanding of your own life, and that the story begins and ends to your satisfaction.
